SOFIA Vergara has posted new photos from her most recent role where she looked completely unlike herself.
Netflix released a show titled Griselda where Sofia, 51, portrays the drug lord Griselda Blanco.
The AGT judge dove into the role and completely changed her appearance to fit the part.
In the new photos, posted on her Instagram Tuesday, her hair was shorter, lighter, and styled differently than fans are used to.
The photo depicted her in character while lying on a table behind a giant stack of money.
A second – and blurry – picture showed the actress going wild with a large bottle of champagne.
Finally, the last photo of the post gave her followers an up close and personal look at the character’s makeup.
The makeup artists for the show gave Sofia dry wrinkly skin and even changed the shape of her lips by using lipstick.
Her whole role was a complete 180 from the characters she has portrayed in the past.
‘MEAN’ BUT LOVED
Fans in the comment section of the post were taken aback by her appearance, but others were enthralled by her performance.

JURY’S OUT
Sofia has been sued by Griselda Blanco’s estate as the family wants to prevent the Netflix show from being released.
Blanco’s children tried to prevent it from being released, but it began to air on January 25.
According to TMZ, Griselda’s children have gone to court asking the judge for an injunction to block the show’s premiere.
Reportedly Michael, Griselda’s son, claimed he’s been doing interviews with someone who is trying to get his life story.
He said he’s been doing these interviews from 2009 to 2022.
Michael said this Netflix show leans a lot on his personal materials but that he never had any money come his way.
The outlet reported Griselda’s siblings sued, claiming “Netflix ripped off their family story.”
Griselda’s children also claimed the likeness of their images in the show were used “without their permission violate their rights.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Sofia and Netflix for comment.
