Snoop Dogg’s Talent Rider Has Changed Drastically But It’s Still Amazing

Snoop Dogg has been famous for decades. He rose to fame in 1992.

The average age of American citizens is 37.9. We’ve almost reached the point where we can say ‘Snoop Dogg has been famous longer than the average American has been alive.’ But we’re not there yet.

Calvin Broadus Jr. aka Snoop-a-Loop was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week. It was the 20th anniversary of Kimmel and they took a look 20 years back when Snoop Dogg was a guest.

Snoop Dogg’s Talent Rider: Then and Now

Jimmy pulled out Snoop Dogg’s talent rider from when he first appeared on Kimmel 20 years ago. It’s changed a lot in two decades but Snoop Dogg’s talent rider is still spectacular. For those that aren’t familiar, the ‘talent rider’ is list of items the guest/artist requests to have in their dressing room.

Snoop Dogg’s 2003 talent rider:

  • Chicken wings from either Hot Wings Cafe on Melrose or Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles on Gower St.
  • Any brand of fruit punch
  • Country Time lemonade
  • Moët champagne
  • Donald Duck (brand) orange juice

Jimmy joked that Snoop Dogg’s rider has only grown longer in two decades. Then he read off what it looks like in 2023:

  • A six-pack of ginger ale
  • Can of Fancy mixed nuts
  • Small bag of Funions
  • Small bag of regular Doritos (regular?)
  • Small bag of flavored-Doritos
  • Small bag of regular potato chips
  • Large bag of Starbursts
  • Large bag of Skittles
  • Bag of Sweet Tarts Chew
  • Oreo Vanilla
  • Chips Ahoy! cookies
  • A six-pack of cranberry juice
  • A six-pack of mini Coke and Diet Coke
  • A six-pack of Red Bull
  • A 12-pack of Fiji Water
  • A 12-pack of Aqua Hydrate Alkaline Water
  • 1 gallon of Minute Made Fruit Punch
  • 4 packs of gum
  • 4 packs of Tic-Tacs
  • 1 bag of Honey BBQ Fritos (IMPORTANT written in red)
