SNL 50th Anniversary Special: Star-Studded Lineup Revealed

As the historic 50th season of Saturday Night Live continues, the lineup has arrived for the SNL50: The Anniversary Special, set for Sunday, February 16th.

The announcement for the A-list event was shared alongside a teaser video boasting some of the extensive talent set to appear: Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian, Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, and Woody Harrelson are all scheduled to be at Studio 8H for the anniversary event. More names are said to be unveiled in the coming days.

The three-hour telecast will air live on both NBC and Peacock beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.

In addition to the SNL50 special on the 16th, there will be a musical celebration of the show’s anniversary on February 14th. The separate showcase, which boasts the likes of Dave Grohl, Lady Gaga, and Jack White, will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and be live streamed on Peacock.

The anniversary special will cap off an extensive string of celebratory material around the comedy program hitting the half-century mark. This includes the Questlove-directed documentary, Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music, which is now streaming on Peacock. Explore the 12 biggest revelations from the film.
