McDonald’s Snack Wraps originally debuted in the U.S. back in 2006 and quickly developed a cult following. Then, in 2016, they were suddenly discontinued—leaving fans devastated. But on July 10, after years of petitions and begging online, the Snack Wrap finally made its return.
While plenty of people are ecstatic and ordering them like there’s no tomorrow, not everyone’s having a good time.
‘I’m Tired…’
One McDonald’s worker in Baltimore, user @bud.4x, posted a TikTok video that captures how some employees are feeling since the Snack Wrap relaunch. His video has been viewed over 2.5 million times so far.
“Snack wraps is never that m———— good for y’all to be coming in this f—— line orderin’ five, six, seven,” he says, clearly frustrated. Then he throws his hat down and yells, “I’m tired. I’m f—— tired.”
He repeats, walking away from the camera, “I’m done. I’m done.”
Everyone Wants One (Or 20)
So far, reception for the wrap’s comeback has been mostly positive. McDonald’s kept the classic ranch version and added a spicy one, too.
Some people are getting emotional over the return. Others say it’s a nostalgia bomb. And a few aren’t all that impressed. But one thing is certain: People are ordering a lot of them, and @bud.4x isn’t the only employee to grow tired of it.
“Can y’all please stop ordering 8 snack wraps at a time,” one McDonald’s worker wrote in a separate TikTok video. “Like please be considerate. When one car orders 8, we get a mobile for 12.”
Another employee shared that someone ordered 45 of each flavor—ranch and spicy. “SNACK WRAP RELAUNCH ALMOST TOOK ME OUT BUT IT WAS A SUCCESS,” they wrote in the caption.
Customers Aren’t Backing Down
In the comments under @bud.4x’s post, most people weren’t exactly sympathetic. If anything, they used the video as motivation to order even more.
“Put ‘em in the bag my boy,” one person wrote.
“Snack wraps was an elite part of my childhood I’m sorry I’m ordering 12,” said another.
“Ok thanks for the PSA I’ll have 13 snack wraps please, extra sauce please.”
McDonald’s workers who are experiencing a similar frustration also left some comments.
“I made 500 yesterday… please order something else now y’all…”
“We sold about 1,500 yesterday,” one wrote. “I went to the freezer to take a min and TELL ME WHY THEY CAME IN THERE FOR TENDERS WHILE I WAS CRYING.”
