Slipknot have hit the top spot in the UK with their brand new album, their second in a row!
After hitting No.02 in the midweek update, Slipknot have come out on top in the UK Albums Chart.
The band beat the reissue of George Michael’s ‘Older’ by 340 chart units after trailing by 2500 on Monday.
The record is the band’s second No.01 in a row, following on from 2019’s ‘We Are Not Your Kind’, and third overall, joining 2001’s ‘Iowa’.
It’s also their 6th Top Ten, with 2014’s ‘.5 – The Gray Chapter’ and 2008’s ‘All Hope Is Gone’ both peaked at No.02, whilst 2005’s ‘Vol.03’ peaked at No.05.
Their 1999 debut ‘Slipknot’ was also a Top 40 album, peaking at No.37.
