More details have emerged about the death of Slash‘s stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, who died of hydrogen sulfide toxicity in July.
The revelation comes with the full release of the late 25-year-old’s autopsy report by the medical examiner in charge of investigating her death.
As part of the report, it was mentioned that Lucy-Bleu Knight’s body was found in the bathroom of the rental she was staying out and that she also left a warning note to prevent first responders from getting poisoned by the gas.

Slash’s Stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, Left A Warning Suicide Note For First Responders
In July, Knight died at the age of 25 after she inhaled hydrogen sulfide in copious quantities at a rental home she was living at.
Her full autopsy has now revealed that while she had taken her life by intentionally filling up the apartment with gas, she had tried to prevent anyone else from being harmed by placing a warning note.
The reports show that the note was placed where it would be easily seen when first responders or someone else opened the front door.
According to the Daily Mail, it read, “CAUTION: CALL HAZMAT IM SO SORRY H2S GAS TOXIC DONT ENTER.”
The gas, which would typically have dispersed by the time Knight was discovered, might have remained trapped due to the extensive sealing measures it appeared she had taken.

When the first responders arrived, they found that blue tape had been used to seal the cracks in the door, the openings of electrical outlets, and the ceiling air vents.

Lucy-Bleu Knight’s Body Was Discovered In The Bathroom Of A Rental Home
Similar sealing measures were found at the bottom of the bathroom’s walk-in shower, where Knight’s body was discovered lying on her back on the floor.
By the time she was found, Knight’s body had already started undergoing the typical changes that occur when an individual dies, including rigor mortis and a lack of color in the skin.
Other unusual details were noted on Knight’s body, including a dark discoloration on her lips and multiple parallel scars on her left forearm. However, it remains uncertain whether the latter were the result of self-inflicted injuries.

Although the initial report on her death classified it as a suicide, the full autopsy made the assessment more shocking as it revealed that Knight’s family had informed investigators that she had no prior history of suicide attempts earlier this year, nor had she expressed any suicidal thoughts to them.

Slash’s Stepdaughter Did Not Have Prescription Drugs In Her System
Another notable detail from the earlier report was that Knight had “a history of undiagnosed mental illness.”
The full autopsy revealed more, showing that the 25-year-old had been undergoing psychiatric treatment and had previously been placed on 5150 psychiatric holds.
When a search was made on the rental she was staying at, multiple prescription medications were found, including some of which are used in the treatment of schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder.
Shockingly, toxicology tests revealed no traces of prescription drugs or any other substances in Knight’s system, suggesting that she had not been taking her prescribed medications for some time before her death.
It remains unclear whether Knight’s failure to take her prescribed medications contributed to her vulnerability to suicidal thoughts.

She Poured Out Her Heart In Her Final Message, Posted On Instagram Hours After Her Death
After her death was announced, a likely scheduled post was shared on Knight’s Instagram that seemed like an apology message to those in her life.
She wrote, “Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.
The tattoo artist also seemed to blame herself for some things that might have gone wrong in her heart.
She added, “Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace.”
Her stepfather, Slash, announced her passing, describing Knight as “an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.”
