Skegss have dropped bouncy, breezy single ‘High Beaming’, taken from their upcoming new album ‘Pacific Highway Music’.
The Aussie duo’s latest full-length arriving on October 18 via Loma Vista Recordings, it’s also set to feature the fuzzy ‘Spaceman’ and the infectious ‘Out Of My Head’.
A tribute to the people who keep us going when the world gets overwhelming, ‘High Beaming’ comes alongside a video showcasing the band’s recent antics, including their London album launch show.

Speaking on the new song, the duo have explained:
“This ones for someone that’s always somewhat positive in the worst times – It’s a strong survival trait.”
And on the duo’s third full-length, vocalist/guitarist Ben Reed has also said:
“I’ve spent a lot of my life driving on the Pacific Highway, and most of the time it puts me in a bit of hypnotic state.
“With this album I tried to be as honest as possible, but I also wanted to create the kind of songs that give you that same feeling—songs where you can shut your eyes, let your imagination take over, and drift off into another world that exists only in your mind.”
