SISTER Wives’ Mykelti Brown has revealed her real weight after dropping about 110 pounds.
Mykelti, 27, dished to her Instagram followers on how she reached her original goal of 160 pounds.
Christine and Kody Brown‘s daughter flaunted her weight loss in a snapshot of herself at the gym.
In the Instagram photo, the Sister Wives notable paired her tight black T-shirt with matching short shorts.
She pulled her reddish hair into a ponytail that flowed past her shoulder.
The TLC personality explained she gained weight following the birth of her twin sons, Archer and Ace, in November 2022.
After weighing about 275 pounds at that time, she started “consuming a low-calorie high protein diet” for about a year.
“I take a gut health supplement that helps my body keep the nutrients from food and shed the crap,” Mykelti shared.
“It’s been a lot of work and determination. I’ve tried many different recipes and found the restaurants that best meet my needs.”
Although she currently weighs 160 pounds, Mykelti expects to start bulking up on muscle.
“My long-term goals are to live a long life and be able to keep up with my kids as they grow,” she concluded.
“I feel better with more energy and higher endurance than ever.”
HITTING THE GYM
The TV star also thanked her husband, Tony Padron, 28, for helping and encouraging her.
In early February, the couple showed off their bicep at the gym in a short video.
Mykelti rocked a loosely fitted black top with the sleeves rolled up as she flashed her strong arms at the camera.
Tony seemed a bit shy about flaunting his fitness gains, but Mykelti boasted about his progress to her followers.
‘CLARIFY A FEW THINGS’
In an online thread, fans speculated Mykelti’s smaller physique was the result of taking the diabetes drug Ozempic, which a lot of celebrities have turned to for rapid weight loss.
In November 2023, Mykelti shut down trolls as they claimed she was taking the controversial drug to secure her slender figure.
“I am not. I am taking a supplement drink and running around with three kids,” she replied.
The TV personality credited the supplement drink Plexus with helping her adopt healthier habits but noted that it was not the sole reason behind her weight loss.
“Hi! I just wanted to clarify a few things. Plexus is not a weight loss company, and it is not the only thing I’ve done to lose weight,” she explained.
“Plexus is a gut health company. So its goal is to help you internally. And internally, when your body is healthy…you end up showing on the outside when you feel good on the inside.”
Tony and Mykelti also share their daughter Avalon, two.
