SISTER Wives star Meri Brown’s new boyfriend, Amos Andrews, “wanted to date” her before meeting, his ex-wife has claimed in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun.
Meri, 53, has revealed her new boyfriend in a birthday post this week.

The U.S. Sun has confirmed his full name to be Amos Andrews, 55, through multiple sources close to the Utah man.
In Touch first reported that he had been married four times before his relationship with the reality star.
The U.S. Sun has learned that right before dating Meri, he was dating someone else, according to one of his ex-wives.
The timeline of when he broke up with his ex, and how and when exactly he met Meri is unclear.

However, an ex-wife, who wishes to remain anonymous out of privacy concerns, told The U.S. Sun that Amos had his eyes on the Sister Wives stars, as well as other celebrities.
The ex claimed: “He knows Meri. He watched the show when we lived in Las Vegas.
“He wanted to find where she lives, so he knows who she is.”
Without knowing how Meri and Amos met, she went on to say: “I wouldn’t be surprised if he took his ex to the bed and breakfast [Lizzie’s Heritage Inn] just to run into her to make that chance encounter.”

Amos lives in Salt Lake City and Meri reportedly moved into her B&B, located a few hours away from SLC, last spring.
The reality star and her now ex-sister wives – Robyn, Janelle, Christine – and ex-husband, Kody, used to live in Las Vegas prior to 2019.
SEEKING SISTER WIVES
Amos’ ex provided an example of how big of a fan he was to the stars.
“He’s a fan of Sister Wives, all the [Real] Housewives,” she claimed.
“When we lived in California, a lot of times we would go into Coto de Caza and he would try to find where the Housewives lived,” referring to the gated community in Orange County.
“He’s kind of fan girl obsessed. He would love to run into people like that.”
The ex-wife gave an example about a time they ran into Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge.
“We saw Tamra once at a Bed Bath and Beyond, and he wanted to go up to her.
“I’m like, ‘Let her be. She’s shopping,'” she recounted.
‘OPPORTUNIST’
When asked if it was Meri specifically he wanted to date, or perhaps another sister wife such as Christine or Janelle, the ex said that it is more about the “opportunity” of dating someone with that much money and power.
She told The U.S. Sun: “I think he just looks at the opportunity.
“I think he’s really opportunistic in looking into someone that’s been in a relationship that maybe didn’t get the attention.
“And he comes in and provides all that attention and seems like this knight on a white horse.”
She continued to say of her ex that she thinks he is simply “looking for someone for a payday.”
The ex is unaware of his current job, but said that he had “many jobs” during the course of their marriage.
Although it’s been reported that he was married four times, a different source told The U.S. Sun that he has been married “more than” four times.
In fact, the ex-wife interviewed in this story did not find out how many marriages he had had until divorce proceedings and said that he was engaged “multiple times” and “many women [were] in and out of his life.”
Amos also has three adult children from his past marriages.
‘SHOCKED’ BY HIS NEW BEAU
The ex had learned about Amos dating Meri when a relative saw the TV personality’s post on social media and passed it along.
“The shock when I got that picture – my mouth dropped.
“I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh. He’s going after someone else at a much higher level.'”
When pressed for more information, the ex described him as a “narcissistic and controlling individual,” who become “extremely jealous” of a relationship she had with a family member.
“He accused me numerous times of cheating on him, and I was just over the controlling.”
The ex told The U.S. Sun that she’s also “shocked” that he “went after” someone with the level of fame that Meri has due to his personality.
She shared: “I think he likes to stay low key so that he can continue to do this to multiple people.”
The U.S. Sun has attempted to reach out to Amos for comment.
MERI REVEALS AMOS
Meri kept her secret boyfriend under wraps until her birthday on January 16.
She took to Instagram on Tuesday night to share selfies and pics of her and her new man.
She captioned the series of photos: “Birthday 53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks.
“Meet Amos, the good-looking guy I’ve been dating since October!
“He’s not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!”
She added that her new dog, Zona, “absolutely loves him.”
She then informed fans that she has been keeping it a secret so that they could enjoy the past few months of dating and “getting to know each other.”
Meri added: “As I’ve considered when and how I wanted to share this fun news and share him with the world (jk, not really sharing, I’m keeping him to myself) I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special way and let you celebrate this with me!”
Finally, she concluded: “I feel like I’m getting this year off to a great start, and I can’t wait to share more with you as the year moves forward!”
