SISTER Wives fans have begged Meri Brown to be herself after they spotted a detail that made the star look very different in a new photo.
On Monday, the TLC star posted a holiday photo of herself on Instagram wishing fans a “Merry Christmas.”

Meri, 52, captioned the post: “Merry Christmas Y’all! Hoping you have a beautiful and magical day surrounded by friends and family!”
In the snapshot, the Sister Wives star stood beside her Christmas Tree wearing a sweater that read: “Merry Christmas Y’all.”
The TV personality appeared to be heavily filtered in the photo as facial details appeared to be smoothed over and the edges of her face washed out.
In the comment section, one person wrote: “Wow so much filter.”
Another critic commented: “I agree. She looks better without the filter.
“Very filtered. Be yourself,” demanded a third.
A fourth commenter asked: “Why always with filter?”
“Oh, the filters….,” added a fifth, punctuated with an eye roll emoji.

Fans are convinced that Meri changed her last name following her divorce from Kody after spotting a clue.
Meri took to her Instagram feed to share a photo of a new addition to her Christmas tree decor.
The reality TV star snapped a pic of an ornament fashioned to look like a postcard.
In large script on one side of the ornament were the words, “Merry Christmas.”
Under it was text that read: “Please bring me pink & white sparkly countertops with rounded edges. Oh, and a new BFF.”
It was signed “Meri Caroline Davenport.”
The Instagram Story post was shared on Reddit, where eagle-eyed fans weighed in.
One person wondered: “Mer has officially changed her last name from Brown?”
“Meri Davenport is SUCH a good name!!!! ‘Meri Brown’ is plain and meh,” another TLC fan praised.
A third gushed: “Agree! It’s much more suiting to her first name! Happy to see this Meri deserves to be her own self … I mean it’s obvious now she’s been on her own for years anyway! Happy for you Meri!”
Someone else noted that the ornament appeared to be an inside joke between her and a friend, writing: “I think it’s because Meri hates pink, sparkly things & wanted that specific countertop for her converted shed/clothing shop space at the Inn that her gay bestie designed for her. So it’s tongue in cheek.”
The ornament appears to be a gift from her pal Jenn Sullivan, who occasionally appeared on Sister Wives.
Meri’s Instagram handle still features the last name Brown and she has not confirmed any changes at this time.
MOVING ON
News of a potential name change comes amid buzz that the TV personality has potentially found happiness again with a new man.
Rumors began swirling after she was seen cuddling up to a man in sweet photos.
Meri posted pics after a weekend getaway with family, friends, and animals.
She was joined by the latest special man in her life: her pal and personal interior designer Blair Struble.
The pair cuddled close for a series of selfies snapped inside a holiday-themed cabin.
Outside their lodging, the duo was able to pause to pet some goats that were wandering the property.
Meri wrote in her caption: “What a fabulous weekend full of joy and magic! @blairmichael12 and his love of all things Christmas just makes the magic explode!
“But the goats… I can’t get enough of these guys!
“I tell ya, you just can’t help but smile when you’re around them! They truly are joy embodied.”
Meri also included a special shout-out to her friend in the post, writing: “So glad to have you as one of my favorite sidekicks on this life journey! A fabulous weekend indeed!”
While it doesn’t appear that there’s anything romantic about their relationship, fans were thrilled to see Meri smiling.
