The clip features Christine seemingly making a jab at her ex-husband, Kody Brown, as she says the wedding is “everything she’s wanted for so long.”
After 26 years of plural marriage, welcoming six children, Christine and the polygamist announced their divorce in November 2021.

Janelle, 54, also chose to leave her “spiritual marriage” to Kody, also 54, shortly after Christine.

“I’m overwhelmed with happiness,” Janelle said, adding, “She feels loved. She feels seen. It just feels right that David and Christine are getting married.”
CHRISTINE & DAVID
The newlyweds met on a dating app a year prior to their October wedding, with Christine telling People that she was initially skeptical of getting to know David as she was not as adventurous as he was.
“I messaged him first and then he responded,” she said. “And at one point he said he liked camping and I was like, ‘That’s not going to work for me then.’ And I threw my phone across my bed and I’m like, ‘Nah.’”
She eventually decided to go on a date with him anyway, and the two hit it off right away.
“I decided we had something, we just clicked really, really well. And then on our second date, I realized that we actually had something really special.”
They were Instagram official by February 2023, and one month later, David got down on one knee.
They got engaged in April while on vacation and immediately shared the news on social media.
She shared with People that she didn’t hesitate one bit as she felt secure with David.
“I’ve never been in love like this before, and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it. I’m so excited for the wonderful adventure we are going to embark on for the rest of our lives,” she explained.
WEDDING DETAILS
For the ceremony, Christine’s son, Paedon, walked her halfway down the aisle, with her dad taking over after.
Forgoing traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, Christine and David opted to have their combined 16 grandchildren walk down the aisle as well.
For the ceremony proper, it was just the couple and their officiant.
“The whole like stage area where the arch was and stuff, I just wanted it to be the three of us up there. I just wanted it to be more intimate. I just wanted to stand up there just with David and our officiant, Corbin,” Christine told Parade.
She also shared that their wedding day was one of the best days of her life.
“We felt loved the whole day. I didn’t just feel loved by David. It was by everybody, all of our guests. It was an incredible experience,” he added.
“The wedding was everything I hoped for. It was romantic and fun and exciting. And it was beautiful… Just a magical day.”
