SISTAS actor Sean Sagar has broken his silence after BET unexpectedly recast his character, Jordan, and left fans furious.
Sean, 33, made his series debut on Season 6 of the Tyler Perry-created comedy-drama and has been replaced by actor Devin Way for Season 7.
In response to his BET show departure, Sean took to Instagram and posted a video that captured him joking around with his former co-star, KJ Smith.
KJ’s character of Andrea “Andi” Barnes and Sean’s Jordan were love interests during the latest season of Sistas.

“But I just want to say thank you for all the messages and love you’ve shown me. Honestly means more than you know. And heyy Who knows what the future holds.”
He concluded the caption by writing, “Massive thank you to all the squad for making me feel so welcome @kjsmithofficial @salstowers @b_wellington @monti_washington @iamnovibrown and to @tylerperry for the opportunity.”
The Jordan character was recast due to scheduling conflicts after Sean landed a lead role in the fifth installment of the NCIS franchise, NCIS: Sydney.
The series premiered on Paramount+ Austrailia in November 2023.
Sistas’ fans took to X, formally Twitter, to voice their displeasure with the jarring actors’ switch.
