Simon Cowell is getting candid about his career.
The 63-year-old America’s Got Talent star opened up on the red carpet ahead of the premiere of America’s Got Talent: All Stars. (Find out who else is going to be a judge this year!)
Simon was asked about American Idol alums Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson, two of his discoveries, who both have talk shows, and whether he’d ever have one of his own.
“No. I was offered one once,” he said to E! on the red carpet.
“Literally, I got to the point where they built the set and I started to get anxious and then really stressed out, and I just walked out and I just said I literally couldn’t do this. I just couldn’t talk to people all day long. I’m not very good at talking.”
He also recently opened up about his slimmed down physique.
