The movie marks Shia‘s first acting role since FKA twigs came forward with abuse allegations back in February of 2021 in a lawsuit, which he recently addressed.
Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, Forest Whitaker, Laurence Fishburne, Jon Voight and Aubrey Plaza all star in the film.
Here’s the plot summary thus far: “The fate of Rome haunts a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in this epic story of political ambition, genius and conflicted love.”
Shia recently opened up about contemplating suicide amid his personal and career struggles.
