Sharna Burgess is eagerly keeping up with the latest season of “Dancing With the Stars” after announcing her unavoidable brief leave not long ago. In addition, she seems to have already made up her mind about the dance pair she is voting for as she gave fans a view of her choice in a new video update on her Instagram Story.
Sharna Burgess Will Vote for Peta Murgatroyd And Her Partner In New “DWTS” Season
Reposting a clip from the official “DWTS” Instagram feed, Burgess revealed who she would likely vote for, with the words, “You already know I’m voting,” alongside a couple of exciting emojis. The video showed the talented Peta Murgatroyd announcing her return to the show and introducing her partner for the season in what looked like a dance studio. Murgatroyd said:
“Hey guys, it’s Peta. I am so happy to be back on ‘Dancing With the Stars this season; you’re gonna love my partner because I love him, and it is….”
Before completing her sentence, she moved the camera to reveal her partner, Jason L. Lewis, who stood behind her but said hi upon coming into view. The post’s caption read, “And we can’t help but wonder, will @jasonleelewis and @petamurgatroyd get all 10s when they perform on #DWTS?! [star emoji].”
While fans were super thrilled about Murgatroyd’s comeback, she remarked in the comments section that she was pretty sure there was a “poppy seed” in her tooth. Several supporters gushed about Lewis and expressed their anticipation of seeing the duo perform together and hopefully win.
News of Burgess’ interest in voting for Murgatroyd comes after she cleared the air via her Instagram Story about her decision not to participate in season 31 of “DWTS.” The Blast reported that the pro dancer said she did a lot of thinking, had long talks, and tried to do the right thing by choosing to withdraw from the new season.
The new mother promised that even without contesting, she would certainly be involved “in some capacity” given that she was at a hundred percent capacity with her body. While she undoubtedly felt in good shape and was prepared to dance, details of her involvement in the competition were not yet devised.
And as for the reason behind her break, she could not afford to spend long hours away from her son, Zane Walker Green, considering her busy schedule as a performer. Burgess wanted to focus on being a full-time breastfeeding and doting mother who remained “in the moment” with her baby boy, living and loving the experience.
Despite acknowledging her love for the show generally after describing the new season as beautiful and magical, she yearned to only bond with her little one and watch him grow. The pro choreographer was still delighted about the enchanting season as she assured fans that they would see her but differently, likely rooting for fans.

Motherhood is such a thrill to Burgess as she has been on cloud nine since she birthed her son, whom she shares with her spouse, Brian Austin Green. Last month, The Blast reported that the adoring parent marked baby Zane’s two-month milestone with a beautiful tribute on Instagram expressing the joy of mothering.
Sharing a video to her thousands of followers, the “SYTYCD” star could be seen cradling her child to her chest as he napped. Zane had a pacifier in his mouth and appeared serene with no worries in the world while his mama rocked him. At the same time, she gazed lovingly at him before kissing his forehead.
In the clip, featuring In Paradise’s “Moments We Live For” as its soundtrack, Burgess tied her blond hair in a bun and wore a white tank top with simple jewelry, including three earrings and a gold necklace with an S. She captioned the update with loving words showing she cherished such moments with her “milk drunk snuggled in baby boy” and did not mind repeating similar views of her baby boy since his birth.
The stunning performer added that every time she shared updates about her son, it felt like it was always the first, even though viewers may feel differently. She concluded by wishing him a happy two months after disclosing that being a mother for two months was the most beautiful thing she had ever done.
