SHANIA Twain has continued to concern fans with her unrecognizable appearance while on her impressive comeback in recent months.
The country music legend was featured in a new Instagram video on Friday, revealing her upcoming gig as host of the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards.

“Let’s go girls,” NBC wrote in the post, revealing Shania, 58, as the host of the September awards.
The clip showed the Man, I Feel Like a Woman hitmaker being gifted a white cowboy hat with the word “Host” written across the front.
Shania looked slimmer than ever in a gold gown, which featured a draped fabric design that hung across her body.
The long-sleeved turtleneck dress hugged her slim frame as she fawned over the hat, which added to her sparkly ensemble.

Shania had her makeup done and kept her long, blonde hair styled straight with a middle part.
The country singer’s hosting gig cuts in the middle of her upcoming Las Vegas residency, which runs from August 23 until December 14 at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater.
While many fans expressed excitement about Shania’s upcoming gig in the post’s comments, others focused more on her appearance in the video.

Some claimed the singer looked unrecognizable and asked if she had gotten any recent comedic procedures done to her face.
“But who’s that?” one person asked.
“What happened to her face??? Stop with getting work done,” a second wrote.
The singer received similar criticism as she took the stage at the British Summer Festival in Hyde Park last week.
Shania performed at the festival in London wearing a red patterned cropped jacket and matching miniskirt.
“The hell did you do to yourself? Christ,” said one Instagram user on photos from the performance.

2001
Shania and Mutt welcomed a son, Eja. Shortly after Eja’s birth, they met and befriended married couple Marie-Anne and Frédéric Thiébaud in Switzerland, with Shania even hiring Marie-Anne as an assistant in running her home.
2008
Mutt surprised Shania by asking for a divorce, leading Shania to ask Marie-Anne if she’d noticed any strange behavior from him. Marie-Anne reassured Shania that nothing strange seemed to be going on.
Soon after, Shania learned that Marie-Anne and Mutt had been having an affair.
2010
Shania’s divorce was finalized, and the star was supported by Marie-Anne’s ex Frédéric – who found out about the affair before her – throughout the difficult time.

COMEBACK QUEEN
Shania’s comeback and changed appearance comes after she previously suffered a health battle with Lyme disease, which affected her vocal cords.
“I lost my voice for several years and I could speak but I couldn’t yell. I could never yell for my dog or my son or whatever,” she told The U.S. Sun in 2017.
“I also felt that I was never going to make another album — that was probably my truth. It was devastating.
“I really grieved about that. It did bring me down and I struggled with it every day.”
While she couldn’t sing for nearly seven years, Shania finally got an operation that “got her back onto the stage.”
After “a very long, drawn-out process,” the singer re-trained her voice and went on to release an album, Now, in 2017.
