“Selling Sunset” cast member Nicole Young is asking for help in finding her beloved 5-year-old female Brussels Griffon named Frankie. The pup has been missing for almost a year, but Young isn’t giving up on her search or the hope that her baby will be returned to her safely. The realtor and dog lover has posted about her devastating situation on Instagram many times since the pup went missing last September asking for help. A video posted earlier this year explained the situation.
Young Shares Her Heartbreaking Situation On Instagram Often
In the heartbreaking video, the reality star explains how the pup went missing on September 14, 2021. “She went missing while under the care of an incompetent dog sitter…while her parents were on vacation.” The video went on to say, “Frankie’s heartbroken parents have been searching for her for over 100 days. They’d give anything to have their beautiful little weirdo back. Dog sitter went on with life as normal…while theirs was left in pieces.” The couple also explained what they think happened to Frankie. “There is strong evidence to believe Frankie was either stolen, sold or with someone who doesn’t want to give her back because…Frankie’s parents received video footage someone took of Frankie on 10/30…at a dog park with someone who wasn’t her parents. No sightings since then.”
Even though it’s been nearly a year, Young is not even close to giving up on the search. She just posted about needing help to find her baby on her Instagram Story.
Young Posts Videos and Photos Asking For Help
A video pleading for any help in finding her sweet pup was posted in November on TikTok and Instagram. Young captioned the post, “We KNOW Frankie is alive. And we KNOW someone has her. Please help us keep a close eye out for any dog that even remotely resembles our girl. Keep in mind, she may now have premature graying around her nose/mouth/chin from all the stress she has endured the past 2+ months 🥺 #findfrankie”
Young Is Getting Ready To Start Her “Selling Sunset” Journey
It was recently announced that Young will be one of two new cast members on the hit Netflix reality series, “Selling Sunset” season six and seven, along with Bre Tiesi. Young has lived in Los Angeles since 2007 and is a longtime member of The Oppenheim Group. She was supposed to be part of the original cast in 2019 but backed out. “Originally, I was a part of the main cast. Honestly, at the time, I just got cold feet right before they were going to start filming,” she told People. “I just wasn’t ready to expose my entire life, and even more so, my clients and business – which I’m very protective of – to the entire world.”
Now years after turning down the offer to be on the show, Young is ready to start her reality TV journey. “I’ve grown personally and professionally a lot,” she said. “At the end of the day, it’s an incredible opportunity and a rise-to-the-occasion kind of moment.”
