One of the most fascinating parts of the Dune: Part Two press tour has been Josh Brolin, who, among other things, has made headlines for his incredibly descriptive poems that he wrote about his co-stars while making the highly anticipated film.
As it turns out, Brolin isn’t just a snooty prose-filled poet, however, as he’s also a regular Instagram Edgar Allan Poe, as evidenced by his recent post explaining to people why they should see Dune: Part Two, which includes the fact that Florence Pugh is a “Midsommar hottie.”
Pugh wasn’t the only Dune: Part Two star to be given a hilarious nickname by Brolin, as he also shouted out Zendaya (Robot Lady), Timothee Chalamet (Wonka), Austin Bustler (Elvis), Stellan Skarsgard (Elvis’ dad), Dave Bautista (WWE dude from “Gardians”), Rebecca Fergusons (Wonka Obi Wan’s mom), Javier Bardem (Chigurh), and himself (the guy from The Goonies).
“DUNE 2 release is less than TWO WEEKS!!! Robot Lady and Wonka fall in love. Then Elvis tries to f— it all up while his bad dad floats in a pool of pond scum. The WWE dude from Gardians gets super pissed while Midsomer hottie puts the eyes on Wonka Obi Wan just after his Mom gets caught taking LSD in a sandy bathroom. Chigurh still doesnt like the guy from The Goonies,” Brolin wrote on Instagram.
“I mean who doesn’t want to see all that on IMAX??? The pandemic as we knew it is over. Strikes have come and gone. F— it. It’s time to commune again and experience that amazing feeling of when the lights go down, you have your hand deep in your Popcorn worm, and DUNE 2 consumes you.”
Dune: Part Two, which has been praised as being The Empire Strikes Back for a new generation, will hit movie theaters in the United States on March 1.
