Actress Salma Hayek is living her best life now that she is 56!
The “House of Gucci” star was born on September 2, 1966, in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. She started off her career as an actress in Mexico, appearing in the telenovela “Teresa” and the romantic drama “El Callejón de Los Milagros,” for which she received an Ariel Award nomination.
The actress and producer landed the role of a lifetime when she was cast as the titular role in 2002’s “Frida” and has appeared in many famous Hollywood films ever since!

On Friday, the star of Marvel’s “Eternals” shared a six-second video with her 21.6 million Instagram followers. In the clip, Salma shakes her hips as the music sings, “Happy birthday to ya.” She has her wavy brown hair brushed back out of her face as she hides her eyes behind angular green sunglasses.
She is clutching a wide-brimmed straw hat in one hand as she shakes her hips back and forth in a red bikini top with matching cheeky bottoms. Salma looks fantastic at 56 and has no problem putting her fit physique on display for her followers in this fun video.

Salma Hayek Dishes On Her Beauty Secrets To Looking Great Over 50
The “Grown Ups” actress’ grandmother was actually trained in cosmetology, so it makes sense that Salma knows how to keep her skin looking great.
“I think that my beauty routine, and how I see beauty is from what I’ve learned from my grandmother,” Salma told Glamour, explaining that sometimes she cleanses her skin with cream or rose water, depending on how it is feeling on that particular day.
In a separate interview with the New York Times, Salma revealed that she never cleanses her skin in the morning, saying, “My grandmother taught me that at night, your skin replenishes all the things you lost during the day. Also, if I cleanse very well at night, why would it be dirty when I wake up?”
When it comes to taking off her make-up at night, she told Glamour that she uses rose water to “take off the residuals,” adding, “You can use a hot towel with the rose water—you put a wet towel in the microwave—to do a little steam.”
She’s also a fan of DIY hacks. As she told the publication, “You can use a little bit of oatmeal and then some water or almond milk, and a little bit of honey. You let it soak, and it’s a great cleanser that makes your skin very soft.”
Yoga & Meditation Are Her Two Secrets To Staying Young
When she turned 54, the “Desperado” star told Savannah Guthrie on the TODAY show that, although she fully embraces her age and sees it as an achievement. “I don’t lie about my age,” she said at the time. “I like being 54. It’s an accomplishment.”
She revealed that doing yoga and meditation are her two secrets to leading a stress-free life.
“I meditate,” she revealed. “I can meditate for one minute or I can meditate straight through one and a half hours.” She also teased a daily 5-minute workout routine that works the whole body but didn’t give any specifics about exactly what kind of exercises she does.
Unfortunately, she played coy with what exactly exercises she does to keep up her fit physique in her fifties.
“It’s restorative yoga,” she told Marie Clarie, describing how it works to “tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you’re aware of your body, you’d be surprised by the effect it can have.”
