Paramount has shared the official trailer for IF, the upcoming fantasy-comedy film directed by John Krasinski.
“IF,” in this case, stands for “imaginary friend,” and the film follows a girl (Cailey Fleming) who discovers that she can see these metaphysical creatures in the flesh. The bad news is that many of them have been forgotten by their real-life companions who’ve now grown up, and it’s on the young heroine — with a little adult supervision from Ryan Reynolds — to save them.
IF boasts a star-studded cast, including Krasinski, Louis Gossett Jr., Bobby Moynihan, and Fiona Shaw, along with the voices of Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Awkwafina, Vince Vaughn, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Richard Jenkins, and many more.
IF arrives in theaters May 17th, 2024, and you can watch the trailer below.
Krasinski’s previous directorial effort was 2021’s A Quiet Place II.
