Not only has The White Lotus become a rating juggernaut for HBO, but it also seems like the sort of project that actors love working on. As such, it’s easy to imagine a world where HBO keeps making The White Lotus for as long as creator Mike White wants/is able to.

A fourth season of the hit comedy-drama series is already in the works at HBO, leading fans to speculate about what shape it could take: where it will be located, who will be cast, etc.

Fans aren’t alone in their theorizing, however, as actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, who starred in the recent third season, recently revealed that he’s heard rumors of an “all star season” featuring characters from across all three seasons of The White Lotus could be in the works.

“I’ve heard rumors of them doing an all-star season,” Schwarzenegger told The Hollywood Reporter. “They could get all the douche guys in one hotel together. Mike said that one day when we were on set, he was like, ‘Oh my God, it’d be so good to get you, Jake Lacy, and Theo James in the same room.’”

“For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves of rocks vernacular but there’s always more room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels,” White told The Hollywood Reporter, while also saying he’d “love” to do an all-star season.

Here is a reminder of who has featured across the three seasons of The White Lotus, with season one taking place in Hawaii, two being set in Sicily, and three being located in Thailand.

Season 1 featured  Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Alexandra Daddario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, Steve Zahn, Molly Shannon, and Jennifer Coolidge, who returned for season two.

The Italy-set second season then starred Coolidge alongside F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Beatrice Grannò, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Will Sharpe, Simona Tabasco and Leo Woodall.

The recently-concluded third season, arguably the most star-studded, featured Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Rockwell, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong and Aimee Lou Wood, in additional to seeing Natasha Rothwell’s character return from S1.

Regardless of what actors may return for season four, composer Cristóbal Tapia de Veer will not, as he has decided to leave the project due to a beef with White and HBO producers.
