RØRY has been unveiled as a co-headliner of Bristol-based festival Misery Loves Company.
The multi-venue event, taking place on September 28, will see RØRY share a co-headlining spot alongside The Hunna.
Misery Loves Company prides itself on being a festival with diversity and inclusivity at its core, with other acts on the lineup this year including Employed To Serve, BLACKGOLD, Gen And The Degenerates and plenty more.
Speaking about her spot on the top of the bill, as well as a city close to her heart, RØRY has shared:
“What an absolute honour to come and co-headline my first ever festival! And it couldn’t get more on brand than Misery Loves Company.
“Bristol has always been the first shows to sell out for me on tour, and I absolutely love performing there! This is going to be incredibly special.”
Misery Loves Company will be taking place in the city’s SWX and The Station venues, and will have more than 50% of its lineup this year represented by female and/or non-binary artists.
The festival has once again partnered with Heads Above The Waves, a non-profit that raises awareness of depression and self-harm in young people.
Discussing the partnership and their aims for collaborating with the festival, Heads Above The Waves has commented:
“We’re so excited to get to team up with the Misery Loves Company gang again this year to continue to build on the foundation of last year’s event.
“There’s already some great plans coming together, and we’re so stoked that MLC has wellbeing at its very core.
“We’re all on the same page in that regard, and we’re looking forward to bringing an event together that’s going to help everyone from artists to the audience find healthy ways to keep their heads above the waves.”
