RITA ORA is ready to bury the hatchet with DUA LIPA and wants to make a song with her.
The British pop stars, whose families both hail from Kosovo with Albanian heritage, have had something of a stand-off over the years but now the Hot Right Now singer is ready to move on.
She has revisited a previously proposed idea of working on a track. It also includes Bebe Rexha and Ava Max, who also have Albanian heritage, and Rita hopes to connect with Dua to make it happen.
On the influx of female singers from south east Europe, Rita said: “Now we have Dua Lipa and Bebe Rexha and it’s amazing.
“I think it’s a natural thing that we get compared, especially as there’s not a lot of us in that part of the world. But we couldn’t be more different, us three.”
Asked if they had ever come together, she said: “Yeah, with Ava Max and Bebe I have. Not so much with Dua yet, but it would be great if we all did something together. Just to represent.”
During an interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Rita went on to reveal that her favourite celebrity is not any of those singers – and someone she is highly unlikely to work on a track with.
She added: “Do you know who I’m fangirling over? Coleen Rooney. She’s a Wag, she’s married to Wayne Rooney and she’s like my idol.
“She did this incredible documentary on Disney+ and I just love her.
“I love people that just do whatever the f*** they want.”
Cara on to a winger
CARA DELEVINGNE’s role in American Horror Story: Delicate Part II is a feather in her cap.
The supermodel looked like she was ready for Halloween in a winged headpiece as she arrived on set for filming in New York.
She wore a flowing black cape and gloves as she prepared to shoot her scenes for the series, which is expected to air in the US later this year.
Cara joined the last series of the show as a character called Ivy and was a newcomer alongside Kim Kardashian, who is also expected to return.
That’s one expensive cast.
Kendall is knot stuff
KENDALL JENNER is back on the market and making sure that everyone knows she is hot property.
She posed in this red and white bikini – tied together with string – during a sunset shoot while on holiday in Barbados.
Kendall was joined on the trip by pals Justin and Hailey Bieber, as well as her ex-boyfriend, rapper Bad Bunny.
But the couple have not rekindled their romance after splitting last month and are believed to be just good friends.
He may be reconsidering that decision after seeing her in this tiny outfit.
Alongside snaps of her holiday shared on Instagram, reality star and model Kendall wrote: “Years pass, and they seem faster and faster.
“Presence and time is all I can ask for. So grateful for what has past [sic], so optimistic for what’s to come.
“Go love on the people you hold close to your heart, and don’t waste a second – 2024, shower me with love and laughter, gratitude and growth, patience and presence.”
Paramore split fears as gig axed
PARAMORE have sparked fears they are in crisis after wiping their social media accounts and cancelling a show.
The band, who debuted in 2004, have deleted all of the content from their Instagram page and have now issued a statement pulling out of the iHeartRadio ALTer EGO festival in the US next weekend.
The message read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paramore can no longer attend and perform at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO on January 13. The band apologises for any inconvenience.”
However, fans are hoping it isn’t the end of the road for the Misery Business singers, after they only recently completed a hugely successful tour.
The group are also due to support Taylor Swift on part of her Eras Tour later this year, but admitted in an interview last month that they are now free agents after fulfilling all legal obligations to their record label.
In comments that should prove reassuring for fans, singer Hayley Williams said: “The only thing that matters is we will still get to be each other’s community.”
Drummer ZAC FARRO added: “I just hope we can keep building the Paramore empire and then rule the world.”
Given it is 20 years since their debut, perhaps this is just a canny way to build up excitement for anniversary celebrations.
Niece news for Louis
LOUIS TOMLINSON has become an uncle again after his sister Phoebe gave birth to her first child.
The influencer revealed the news with a video on Instagram, which showed she had the baby, called Olive, in a birthing pool.
Phoebe, who is in a relationship with lower league footballer Jack Varley, wrote: “Olive Johannah Varley, 04.01.24 – weighing 7lb 7oz – the best day of our lives.”
Louis’s eldest sister Lottie has a one-year-old son, Lucky.
Olive’s middle name is a tribute to their mum Johannah, who died from leukaemia in 2016 aged 43.
Gwynnie at the reddy
GWYNETH PALTROW painted the town red alongside her husband Brad Falchuk.
The actress and Goop founder posed with the TV writer and director at the premiere of his Netflix show The Brothers Sun in Los Angeles.
Eeking out the festive cheer, Shakespeare In Love star Gwyneth opted for the brightly coloured low-cut top and matching long skirt.
The Oscar-winner tied the knot with Brad in 2018.
Despite working behind the camera rather than in front of it, he has helped mastermind some of the biggest shows of the past two decades.
He co-created Glee, American Horror Story and Pose.
With plenty more projects in the pipeline, Brad is probably the only person who can tempt Gwyneth to get back into big-screen roles.
WE can reveal Ariana Grande’s new track that will serve as the lead single to her seventh album is called Yes, And?
It comes as Bizarre told earlier this week that she had secretly filmed her comeback video in a New York warehouse.
Ariana’s last lead single, Positions, helped give the singer her seventh UK No1 when it was released in 2020.
She will no doubt be hoping Yes, And? also sends her to the top of the charts.
NICOLE SCHERZINGER will finally become a Broadway star after her successful stint in Sunset Boulevard resulted in a transfer to New York.
She played the lead role of Norma Desmond in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical’s London run from September to this week.
It has now been confirmed she will return to the production later this year.
The musical is expected to open in the Big Apple in November.
There are also plans for Nicole to release a solo album in 2024.
Nicki takes a bad rap
NICKI MINAJ is more than happy to be branded the villain of rap music – because she doesn’t think her rivals could handle the backlash.
She has been in countless public spats, including with Cardi B, Lil’ Kim and Kanye West.
Nicki, whose first UK tour in five years begins this May, said of the music industry on Apple Music 1: “It’s like a movie. They have made me the bad guy.
“I have welcomed the challenge because I know I can accept the challenge.
“None of them, none of them [my rivals] would be able to do it. So they have made me the bad guy in this movie I am in.”
Joe’s Storming in
JOE JONAS has moved on from his marriage to British actress Sophie Turner – with American model Stormi Bree.
The Jonas Brothers singer has whisked her off to skiing spot Aspen in Colorado after they spent time together in Mexico.
She had joined him in Cabo San Lucas after he rang in the New Year, while playing a show there with siblings Kevin and Nick.
It comes just weeks after Sophie was seen snogging British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, whose family are said to be worth £224million.
Joe and Sophie, who have two children, separated in September and are now in the process of divorcing.
He had flown to London to spend time with his kids before the New Year getaway.
It’s fair to say he is racking up the air miles since splitting with the Game Of Thrones star.
