In case you missed it, there was a recent cast shakeup to The Real Housewives of Orange County. Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Emily Simpson were let go from the cast, and Bravo brought on Noella Bergener, Nicole James, and Dr. Jennifer Armstrong. The network also decided to have Heather Dubrow reprise her role as a housewife.
We’re sure to get plenty of new drama with the new cast, but it looks like it’s already getting started!
Noella Bergener is divorcing her husband James Bergener. The couple has only been together for one year, and we’re sure this will be be part of her storyline for this season.

The new season of Real Housewives of Orange County is shaping up to be filled with drama. Noella Bergener, one of the show’s new stars, has officially filed for divorce from her husband.
Earlier this year, the issues between her and James Bergener became public.
According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Noella filed for separation on August 2. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The couple got married in June 2002, but share a 2-year-old son together. The southern California native has a daughter from a previous relationship.
In the legal documents, Noella asked for primary custody of their son and added that her ex should only have visitation rights.
Evidently, her husband has racked up some major debt. It sounds like their shared finances will make for a messy split.
In the separation documents, Noella asked for monthly spousal support, and asked the courts to terminate any possibility of her paying anything to James.
According to TMZ, James filed for a divorce from Noella in Puerto Rico earlier this month as well.
Since filing for separation, Noella also updated her Instagram bio.
“Not so-Happy Housewife to Sweet James Sr. Mother to Little James, Coco & RiRi,” her bio reads. “Based in OC. Love honest people, strong women and repping POC.”
Noella also took to Instagram at the time to elaborate on the split.
“I was just as shocked and disgusted to find out a week before filming … and not from husband,” she commented on a post from All About the Real Housewives. “My marriage has been a fight every day since. I am being very open about my journey and looking at every option to settle my husband’s debts.”
The Hollywood Gossip reported that James owes $5.8 million to the IRS and the state of California.
Right before she began filming this season, the new housewife even found out about a tax lien on their home.
The Sun revealed that Noella filed for divorce officially last month.
The 36-year-old reportedly stated in court documents that she does not know the extent of the couple’s assets and debts.
So far, there has been no word from James about the impending divorce.
