The Goldy LockS Band, fronted by Goldy Locks, released their moving single and music video for “You Will Always Be Remembered.”
The fact that it coincided with this year’s Mother’s Day festivities makes it that much more appealing. Goldy Locks and her gifted band members are able to pay homage to all of the loved ones that they’ve lost in this stirring power-ballad.
“A friend of mine said he felt kind of left behind, so many things are changing, not just with the times, we’ve all been there before Like, is there something more?” Goldy Locks sings in the opening verse, thus instantly luring her listening audience in.
Goldy Locks allows her rich, husky voice to shine on this somber tune, where she emerges as a modern-day Tanya Tucker. The lyrics are conversational but not contrived, and at times, they feel like pure poetry.
The chorus is catchy and it will inspire her fans to sing along with them, coupled by infectious hooks, riffs, and melodies.
She is able to form a strong connection with her listeners, and this poignant song’s subject matter is raw, warm, and relatable. She is not afraid to be honest and vulnerable, and her vulnerability is the listener’s reward.
Goldy Locks is able to pull off the most compelling vocal performance of her career thus far in a song that will matter most to the public, and they ought to have the Kleenex box handy.
