It comes ahead of the Valentine’s Day release of Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.

The fourth and final instalment sees Bridget’s ever-complicated love life continue, with Bafta winner Chiwetel Ejiofor and The White Lotus’s Leo Woodall joining the cast.

On returning to the role, Renee told Vogue: “I love her. And her story’s not finished.”

Last year Ant Anstead gave a unique insight into his life with Renee.

In an interview with The Sun’s TV Mag, the Wheeler Dealers star told how Oscar-winner Renee was a complete ‘car nut’ and even has her own welding helmet.

He said: “True story'” when asked about her love of cars and added: “Everybody knows, I met Renee on the car show. Pretty cool, right?.”

Zellweger is famed for her starring role in the Bridget Jones films while Ant has presented various motoring programmes.

His new show, Ant Anstead: Born Mechanic streamed on discovery + on Thursday 24 October 2024.

The pair met when Renee appeared on the British TV star’s show Celebrity IOU Joyride in April 2021 and announced their romance publicly on Instagram that September.
