REESE Witherspoon has been spotted with a new look after recently making an announcement about her upcoming spinoff.
The Morning Show star was seen wearing large, black-rimmed glasses and a sophisticated outfit to match.
Reese, 48, departed her hotel room in New York City with her hands full, appearing to be holding onto a few items.
She held onto the neck of a large bottle with one hand and seemingly a clutch in the other, which she pushed underneath her jacket.
For her look, the Big Little Lies star opted for a knee-length black dress, which she paired with a cropped gray jacket.
Along with the glasses, Reese accessorized with pointed-toe black heels and some simple jewelry for the outing.

KEEPIN’ IT YOUNG
The actress was seen in NYC after most recently posting photos from a sunset boat ride.
Last week, she shared pictures that showed her smiling wide as she leaned over the boat’s edge, capturing the water and distant mountains.
Her signature blonde locks flowed in the wind as she stood on a chair, perched up on her toes to fully take in the gradient sky during the ride.
Reese’s outfit consisted of a white sweater with a V-neckline and form-fitting white jeans with a cutoff bottom hem.
“Don’t worry about a thing… except going overboard!” the Legally Blonde star joked in her caption.
Fans raved over her glowing appearance in the comments, with one writing, “Proof you are more beautiful and radiant than the Sun.”
“Still beautiful after all these years,” another follower wrote.
Another called her “goals” while someone else said she was “pure beauty.”
ELLE WOODS’ RETURN
Around the same time as her new post, the Emmy-winning star was revealed to be venturing into a new project, which garnered mixed reactions from fans.
The actress’ production company, Hello Sunshine, has teamed up with Amazon MGM Studios to create a new TV series based on her hit film, Legally Blonde.
Reese played the lead role of Elle Woods in the 2001 cult classic, becoming one of her most iconic characters to date.
Deadline reported there are two shows inspired by the 2001 film currently in the works at Amazon.
“Hello Sunshine and Amazon are looking to further expand the Legally Blonde TV universe with a potential second spinoff series,” the outlet said.
One is further along than the other, however, with Gossip Girl executives Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz behind the project.
Meanwhile, the second series is still being worked out.
Some fans couldn’t contain their excitement for the announcement, while others questioned the need for a spinoff.
“Exciting news! Can’t wait to see how they continue Elle Woods’ story in the spinoff series,” one fan wrote on X.
“What if we just let great movies be great movies,” another said in opposition.
A third noted the film’s sequels, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, which came out in 2003, and Legally Blondes, released in 2009.
“LOL, no. Have we forgotten just how awful #2 and #2 were,” they raged.
