THE REAL reason Kyle Richards has not yet filed for divorce from husband Mauricio Umansky has been revealed – though they will ‘never’ reconcile, a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and The Agency real estate founder shocked the Bravo-verse when they announced their separation in October 2023 after 27 years of marriage.
RHOBH viewers have seen their emotional separation play out on cameras – which came to a head in last week’s episode when Kyle, 56, broke down in tears as she collapsed in Mauricio’s arms during a recent meetup.
The glimpse into their dynamic was described as “awkward” by some fans – though many noted it was clear they still had love for one another.
While it’s been 18 months since they went their separate ways, the couple has not yet filed for divorce – leading to questions of whether they will rekindle.
However, a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that they are “past the point” of getting back together.

“Kyle and Mau are in as good of a place as they can be right now. It’s still hard for Kyle but she’s getting through it.
“I think they are past the point of every reconciling,” the insider claimed, adding that “it seems that ship has sailed.”
“They still have their own beautiful, unique bond and continue to be there for each other when it’s needed.
“Things haven’t gotten nasty on either side but it is over.
“They’re not in a hurry to file but when they inevitably do it will be a nightmare to divide up assets, stakes in The Agency and a lot of other things they both went all into together,” the source revealed.
BIG STAKES
Kyle has been open about the couple not having a prenup and splitting everything 50/50 as when they began dating in 1994, the couple had “nothing.”
The beginning of their marriage was from humble beginnings, as Kyle explained they were “living in a tiny two-bedroom apartment with three kids.”
However, their wealth drastically increased due to Kyle launching RHOBH in 2010 and Mauricio’s real estate career exploding around the same time.
Mauricio, who got his start working for Kyle’s brother-in-law, Rick Hilton, left the Hilton and Hyland firm in 2011 to start The Agency.
The Agency, which Mauricio co-founded and still remains CEO, was also helped started by Kyle at the time – who still has a stake in the real estate company.
A decade later, The Agency now has hundreds of offices around the world and in 2023 alone, sold over $12.4billion in real estate.
According to various reports, the couple’s net worth well exceeds $100 million – which would presumably be split in half along with their various assets should they file court papers.
The couple also own mansions in Encino, CA, Beverly Hills, CA, Aspen, CO and Palm Desert, CA.
Kyle and Mauricio have been living separate lives since announcing their split as she remains in their family home while he moved into a bachelor pad condo in LA.
‘GREATEST TRAINWRECK’
The couple broke the news of their split with their daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, on camera during a February 2024 episode of RHOBH.

The pair were criticized for having an intimate conversation with their daughters on camera – and were slammed by radio legend Howard Stern, 70.
In an episode of The Howard Stern Show last year, he called out Kyle, claiming it wasn’t appropriate for the Bravo star to have that conversation in front of cameras.
“I’m a big Beverly Hills Housewives fan, I watch that show religiously,” he said.
“One of the gals on there, Kyle, it looks like her marriage is on the rocks.”
He went on, “She calls a meeting with her children and discusses it with them on camera, and I’m like, that’s the craziest s**t I ever saw.”
The outspoken host claimed that the family is “hell-bent on being famous,” to the point that they’re willing to “drag the kids into it.”
Howard called the scene the “greatest trainwreck” he had ever seen.
