Reacher star Alan Ritchson is currently in the midst of production on the fourth season of the hit Prime Video series and his body is paying the clearly price, as the actor showed off a nasty shiner he got while filming.
First premiering in 2022, Reacher has helped turn Alan Ritchson into a star, as it’s become the biggest role of his career so far, while also leading to him appearing in films such as Fast X and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
He also now finds himself as the focus of fan-castings, with some DC fan clamoring for him to play Batman in James Gunn’s DCU (we asked him about that when we interviewed him last year, by the way).
Despite his newfound fame, however, Ritchson clearly hasn’t forgotten where his bread is butter as he continues to churn out seasons of Reacher — being in production on a fourth season after premiering three years ago is massively impressive in today’s current TV landscape — and isn’t afraid to put his face in harm’s way.

Back in the Spring, Ritchson and one of his Reacher co-stars were seen in-character at Wrigley Field for a Chicago Cubs game filming a scene for season four, which is based on the Lee Child novel Gone Tomorrow from 2009.
The 42-year-old former Blue Mountain State has got tons of projects on his upcoming slate, as he also recently wrapped production on an action movie titled Runner alongside Owen Wilson and the Christmas action-comedy The Man with the Bag alongside the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger, who will be playing Saint Nick. He also has the movies Playdate, Motor City and War Machine in various stages of production.
