As Raymonte navigates life from his hometown of Minneapolis to Houston, he sends out positive vibes to the masses. Cole, the 25-year-old social media maven, has appeared in Essence and Max, made cameos alongside Nick Cannon and Monaleo, and opens about life as Black content creator on the podcast If We’re Being Honest, which he co-hosts with Malik McIntyre and DeAndre Brown. Oh, he might be kind of psychic, too. As Raymonte told us when we slid into his DMs for this week’s Search History: “I was born to be famous.” Below, we talk creepy DMs, Hollywood aspirations, and managing life in the spotlight.

MICAIH THOMAS: A/S/L?

RAYMONTE COLE: 24/Male, sometimes her and she depending on my mood/Houston, Texas, but I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota, the north side.

THOMAS: Houston is lit. What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

COLE: I check my email.

THOMAS: What’s in your system currently?

COLE: Love, light, and happiness. And a little attitude cause don’t play with me.

THOMAS: Where do you spend most online?

COLE: Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook lmao. Facebook is lowkey my favorite, they get crazy.

THOMAS: Why is Facebook your fav?

COLE: That’s where everybody I grew up with is. It motivates me to see how far I came. It makes me realize nothing is unrealistic. I can visualize and make anything I want for myself a reality.

THOMAS: The finest men be on Facebook.

COLE: Yes, I love boys. I love girls too. I be confused no shade.

THOMAS: How do you come up with content for social media?

COLE: I don’t, I just do. If I have nothing to say, I don’t post. I’m never brainstorming content. I feel like if I thought stuff out my audience wouldn’t connect with that because I’m such an in the moment person.

THOMAS: You’re a visionary.

COLE: Yes, been one all my life. I was born to be famous idk.

THOMAS: I also heard you’re a psychic. What do you see in your future?

COLE: Omg. You just gagged me nooooo shade. I really am a psychic but not a tell-the-future psychic. I’m just always kinda right and I know the outcome of situations. But I see [myself] acting. I wanna be on the cover of a magazine so bad. I see daytime television for me, I just wanna work.

THOMAS: What were your last three Google searches?

COLE:

Raymonte

THOMAS: What were your last searches on X?

COLE:

THOMAS: Best and worst parts of going viral?

COLE: I hate being perceived. Sometimes I feel like, me being from the hood, people think I don’t deserve much so they always try and make me feel unworthy, but I know my worth. The best part is the money. It’s life-changing.

THOMAS: It’s god’s hand on your life.

COLE: I love my GOD. You gotta capitalize his name, boo.

THOMAS: All caps.

COLE: You ain’t wrong king.

THOMAS: What’s it like being in the spotlight?

COLE: It doesn’t really bother me. [It] just irritates me. I could honestly care less, everything has pros and cons.

THOMAS: What’s the strangest DM you’ve received?

COLE: So many, like I hate checking my DMs. I really hate old men so when I see an older man in my DM I scream.

THOMAS: How did you become Facebook famous?

COLE: I used to be really fly in high school. I had everything. I took pictures every day. I was spoiled.

THOMAS: Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You can only pick one.

COLE: TikTok.

THOMAS: How do you still keep your content fresh and cutting edge so many years later?

COLE: I think content now is simple. They used to put so much effort in and kinda perform. I think now people just live their lives and relatability is one of the most important factors in my content. I’m not out of touch.

THOMAS: We have also seen you make power moves with your long-time friends, Malik McIntyre and Deandre Brown. Tell me about y’all’s latest podcast.

COLE: I love our podcast. It’s so fun and positive like something that shows all of our personalities and dynamics of our friendship. We all get to shine and I love that most.

THOMAS: Can you send your favorite meme?

COLE:

THOMAS: Always been a baddie. Money or clout?

COLE: Money.

THOMAS: What’s your password?

COLE: Girl, bye.
