Rapper Juvenile went OFF on American Airlines on Wednesday and Thursday after the airline tried to kick him and his wife out of their first class seats on a flight.
Terius Gray, better known as ‘Juvenile‘, shared two videos of the incident on his Instagram. In the first video, he can be seen talking with American Airlines flight attendants and being told he has to move to the Coach seating area… which is INSANE given his boarding pass and his wife’s boarding pass both had those first class seats on them.
Instead of deigning to the demands of American Airlines flight attendants trying to stuff him in the back, he and his wife got off the flight entirely and he sounded off on them throughout. There is some strong language in the two videos so be forewarned:
In that video, the ‘Back That A– Up’ rapper can be heard saying he won’t allow American Airlines to “disrespect me like that.”
Juvenile goes on to say “I’m a celebrity. I’m telling you this is going to be repercussions. It’s going be repercussions to this because I’m going to get off the plane. I’m going to get off the plane. I’m not going to let y’all disrespect me like that. I’m not going to let y’all choose me out of all the people on the plane and disrespect me. So I’m going to get off the plane.”
In the second video, Juvenile has some quite profane thoughts on American Airlines and also claims “I ain’t never flew coach” which I’m extremely jealous of:
I’d love to hear American Airlines’ side of this. They nearly ruined my entire honeymoon years ago. My wife and I arrived at the Miami Airport with just over two hours until our flight and the American Airlines employees straight-up said ‘you’re too late’ because security was backed up and wouldn’t even allow us to try and check in…
With over 2 hours of buffer time until our flight, which is what they recommended at the time. So we had to spend a small fortune to (1) stay in Miami that night, (2) rebook our flight even though it was entirely their fault, and (3) lost a small fortune on the night we’d paid for at the resort we were traveling to and the volcano/spa excursion we had booked for that day.
We were there on time and American Airlines just said ‘nope, you’re too late’ because their inability to smoothly run a business screwed us… on the first day of our honeymoon. I’ll never fly with AA again after that and I hope Juvenile doesn’t ever step foot on another American Airlines flight in his life after this incident.
