Nyjah Huston Accused Of Assaulting A Female Victim
In the legal filing, a woman named Anzhela Vinnik claimed Huston physically assaulted her on or about June 6, 2022. The alleged incident occurred at a private Los Angeles residence, where she was a guest.
Vinnik explained that a physical altercation had erupted between the homeowner and Huston; however, she failed to mention what sparked the fight. As for her involvement in the matter, the plaintiff noted she attempted to de-escalate the situation.
Unfortunately, per her claims, getting involved in the brawl resulted in severe consequences. Her recollection of events read: “Defendant Nyjah Huston aggressively approached the Plaintiff, leaning forward and getting within inches of her person.”

The Pro Skateboarder Allegedly Pushed The Victim
According to the alleged victim, Huston carried out his threat of harm by physically attacking and pushing her. She claimed he used such force that she fell, leading to “physical injuries and damages.”
The documents noted that Vinnik also suffered psychological damage, incurred medical bills, and sustained disability. The aftermath of Huston’s assault didn’t end there, as she incurred legal costs to obtain an attorney and file the lawsuit.

This Is Not Huston’s First Rodeo
In 2019, The Blast reported that Huston escaped jail time for his felony battery case after scoring a plea deal. The agreement saw him pleading no contest to one misdemeanor count of disturbing the peace while prosecutors agreed to dismiss the felony battery charge.
Although he escaped time behind bars, the skateboarder was sentenced to 24 months probation. He got slammed with the felony battery charge in 2017 after allegedly attacking a man named Ryan Sheehy at a house party.
Sources close to the situation claimed Huston’s attack was unprovoked, and the athlete allegedly fled the party following the altercation. Law enforcers eventually arrested and charged him with felony battery while giving Sheehy a criminal protective order.
The Victim Claimed He Underwent ‘Reconstructive Surgery’ Following The Attack
Although the criminal protective order stopped Huston from approaching Sheehy, it wasn’t enough to compensate for the aftermath of his attack. The male victim filed a lawsuit against the skateboarder, claiming he was “forced to undergo reconstructive surgery.”
According to Sheehy, he “suffered a broken nose and a cut above his left eye,” leading to “noticeable disfigurement.” He stressed that these injuries caused “immense pain,” leading to his absence from work.
The victim implored the court for compensation, seeking an unspecified amount in damages. Pictures of his injuries obtained by The Blast showed severe bruising; however, Huston showed no remorse and claimed his actions were just.

Nyjah Huston Claimed His Actions Were Self-defense
Following the viral incident, Huston released a statement explaining his side of the story. He refuted claims that his attack was “unprovoked,” stressing that he only fought Sheehy to defend himself.
“My actions were a result of someone acting in an aggressive manner towards me and solely defensive in nature,” the skateboarder said, adding:
“I have the utmost faith in the process and believe that I will be fully exonerated as the truth emerges.”
During the criminal proceedings, prosecutors offered Huston 3 years of formal probation, 160 hours of community service, and 1-year of anger management. However, he turned down the agreement before eventually accepting the plea deal that helped him escape jail time.
