Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making their way back to the UK.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are doing the most to make amends with the Royal Family.
The couple will take a trip across the pond to the UK and Germany to attend multiple charity events.
Meghan & Harry Are Headed Back To The UK
A spokesperson for the couple revealed to Page Six, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to visit with several charities close to their hearts in early September.”
Meghan and Harry will attend the 2022 One Young World Summit in Manchester, England on September 5th, the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany the following day and the 2022 WellChild Awards in London on September 8.
The Invictus Games are very near and dear to Harry’s heart.
Since its 2014 inception, Prince Harry has been a dedicated supporter of the sporting competition for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.
The couple previously visited Queen Elizabeth II’s in June for her annual Platinum Jubilee celebrations with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
Harry & Meghan Will Participate In Charity Events
This trip marked their daughter’s first time to the UK.
Harry’s marriage to Meghan ruffled many royal feathers, and their subsequent move to California after leaving their royal duties didn’t help matters either.
Oh, and who could forget their bombshell interview with Oprah.
However, as the dust settled in recent years, Meghan and Harry have gotten back in the good graces of the Queen and Prince Charles.
In April, Harry sat down with Hoda Kotb on “TODAY” and opened up about his grandmother’s well-being.
“It was just so nice to see her,” he told Kotb. “She’s on great form.”
Harry explained how he, Meghan and Her Majesty shared some laughs over tea during his visit.
“[The Queen’s] always got a great sense of humor with me,” Harry admitted. “It was really nice to catch up with her.”
And if you think Harry will let the Atlantic Ocean keep him from protecting his grandmother, think again.
He insured to Kotb that he is making sure she is well looked after.
“I’m just making sure that she’s, you know, protected and got the right people around her,” the father-of-two said.
Harry said he’s finally found “peace” living in Santa Barbara, CA.
Harry Found “Peace” After Leaving The Royal Family
During the same interview with Kotb, the former royal member said, “At times I feel massively at peace,” while referring to his new life in the US.
However, it’s not lost on him that there is a lot going on in the world currently that is not peaceful whatsoever.
“For so many people it’s about management, but I do know there is a light at the end of a tunnel for everybody,” Harry explained.
His “light at the end of the tunnel” came when he left England and started his own family with Meghan.
“You know, home for me now is, you know, for the time being, it’s in the states,” the former working royal admitted. “And it feels that way as well. We’ve been welcomed with open arms, and it’s got such a great community up in Santa Barbara.”
