Recently, we received an update on a new Predator movie, Badlands. But what about a sequel to the hit movie Prey, starring Amber Midthunder? Well, according to Deadline, Prey 2 is still in very early development, with no talent yet attached. However, “a Prey 2 is still in the works that would return to the films original setting and with Prey star, Amber Midthunder, potentially returning.”
The publication also notes that, should a Prey 2 happen with Midthunder, “the interesting element is that even though there has been seven films featuring the infamous alien, there has never been an instance where the star of a previous film has returned to reprise their role.”
We love to see Amber Midthunder in just about anything, especially more Predator movies. So we’ll keep our fingers crossed for more news on Prey 2 soon.
