Pixies appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night (June 18th), where they performed “Motoroller.” Watch the replay below.
“Motoroller” appears on Pixies’ latest album, The Night The Zombies Came, which arrived in 2024. “This is one of those kinds of songs where there’s little threads you can follow and they take you somewhere,” Frank Black previously said about the song. “But they’re not required for the experience. You can just start fishing around in the lyrics, and maybe you won’t find exactly what the story is, but you’ll find a story related to the city of Berlin. So just have fun with the clues that are there.”
The alt-rock legends are presently in the midst of an extensive North American tour, with upcoming dates in Seattle, Washington, Montreal, and Boston, during which they’re performing their classic albums Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde in full. They’ll later embark on a co-headlining jaunt with Spoon.
