Pierce The Veil have shared the third taste of their upcoming record ‘The Jaws Of Life’, and it is the best one yet.
Pierce The Veil’s new album ‘The Jaws Of Life’ is a month away, and the band are sharing some more of what to expect from it.
And if you were expecting something unlike anything else the band have done before, then you are in for a treat.
Their new track ‘Even When I’m Not With You’ is, quite simply, stunning.
A crashing wave of a song, brimming with romantic intent and heart-fluttering loveliness, it shows off how far the trio have pushed themselves in delivering different sounds, but also representing their poetic and poignant side perfectly.
It’s hard not to smile when you listen to it.
Vocalist/guitarist Vic Fuentes had this to say about it all:
“Musically, it’s the first song we’ve ever created that utilizes the same looping riff throughout nearly the entire song. This was something that I have been trying to accomplish for years with our band and I’m excited that we finally found a way to do it with this one.”
“This song was inspired by a text my manager sent me while I was going through a rough time. I thanked her for being there for me, and she said, ‘Even when I’m not with you, I’m still with you.’ That phrase touched my heart and inspired me to write a love song dedicated to my wife about no matter how far away I am on tour, I’m still devoted to her, and we will always be connected through our love.”
‘The Jaws Of Life’ will be yours on February 10 via Fearless Records.
