Today, the highly anticipated Relix Music Conference announced the full schedule of programming set for its fourth annual event set to take place at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on April 17 and 18. Joining the recently announced Master of Ceremonies Andy Frasco are legendary singer-songwriter and guitarist Peter Frampton and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Oates, who will take part in one-on-one conversations with the music industry’s most respected minds over the two-day event.
Along with the special guests, the premier music gathering announced a handful of new panels. Where Is My Mind: Mental Health & The Music Industry will showcase conversations on the topic of mental health and wellness needs of musicians that have been overlooked between Backline.care founder Hilary Gleason, Frasco, Sr. Director, Global Cultural Influence and Gibson Gives Erica Krusen, Michele Augis Managing Director, Board Member of the Neal Casal Music Foundation and Tatum Allsep of Founder/CEO of Music Health Alliance.
Brand Aid will explore the topic of artist brand management and be moderated by publicist and founder Greg Knight Music Greg Knight. Panelists include Marc Allan, a manager at Red Light Management, President of MAC Presents Marcie Allen and the founder of CEO of 237 Global Mark Weiss.
The event also shared they will put on Part two of Sound Check: The State of the Business, a second freewheeling, a wide-ranging conversation regarding the state of the live music industry in 2023 with perspectives from a variety of verticals across the business. The panel will be moderated by Relix Magazine Editor-in-Chief Dean Budnick and feature speakers Ben Blackwell of Thirdman Records, WME’s Braeden Rountree, JC Curleigh of Gibson Brands and Jonathan Dworkin of Universal Music Group.
The Relix Music Conference also has partnered with Americana Music Association for two showcases to be hosted on Brooklyn Bowl Nashville’s stunning outdoor patio. The panels with the Americana Music Association will feature Autumn Nicholas and Bowen * Young on April 17 and Goldpine along with Wyatt Flores on April 18.
