Pete Davidson’s friends worried he’s ‘moving too fast’ with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt after string of heartbreaking splits

PETE Davidson’s friends are concerned he’s moving too fast with new girlfriend Elsie Hewitt after a string of rough breakups. 

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal that friends close to Pete, 31, are worried after he moved in with the model and made his red carpet debut with her in just a few short months.

“They began dating around the start of the year, and Pete was trying to keep the relationship under wraps when it was made public back in March,” the insider said.

“The way the relationship has unfolded and become so public so quickly after there were those first photos of them in Palm Beach has been really surprising.”

The former Saturday Night Live star and his now live-in girlfriend made their red carpet debut at the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s Blossom Ball in New York City Thursday night.

“This relationship has moved at warp speed. For them to have already moved in together just a few months into the relationship, it’s a lot,” the source added. 

The insider said they are concerned the comedian is “moving too fast,” after a string of heartbreaking relationships in recent years. 

On top of that, the insider noted that Pete had initially tried to keep their relationship private.

Meanwhile, it’s been anything but.

Since the beach photos were revealed, Elise has posted a slew of snaps of Pete on her social media, including a picture of him in a bathrobe the very next day.

The insider at the time claimed that it was their first trip away together, and that Elsie was not part of any of the SNL 50 celebrations in February.

ELSIE’S HOLLYWOOD STORY 

Elsie is no stranger to Hollywood, and has long been a fixture in the public eye, with her reputation as a sought-after model and social media “it girl.”

Before her romance with Pete, Elsie was linked to Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis, 49, for much of last year.

She previously dated music producer Benny Blanco, 37, after meeting him on the set of one of his music videos in 2019. (Benny is now engaged to Selena Gomez.)

Elsie also had a brief relationship with actor Ryan Phillippe, 50, in 2017.

After their breakup, Elsie filed a lawsuit against Ryan, accusing him of assault during a heated dispute. She alleged that he kicked, punched, and pushed her down a flight of stairs.

Phillippe denied the claims, calling them “saddening and disgusting.”

The two eventually reached an out-of-court settlement in 2019, just days before the trial was set to begin.

PETE’S PAST ROMANCES

Pete Davidson has had a string of high-profile relationships with some of Hollywood’s most famous names, including Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian.

After his split from actress Chase Sui Wonders in August 2023, the former Saturday Night Live star was rumored to be dating Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline.

Prior to that, Pete was briefly linked to model and actress Emily Ratajkowski.

His relationship with Kim was one of his most talked-about romances.

The pair went Instagram official on March 11, 2022, posting photos of themselves cuddling on a hotel floor with the caption, “Whose car are we gonna take?!”

Their relationship began after performing an Aladdin skit together on SNL in October 2021.

Kim, who filed for divorce from Kanye West in December 2021, dated Pete for nine months before their split in August 2022.

Perhaps Pete’s most memorable romance was with pop sensation Ariana.

The couple started dating in May 2018 and stunned fans by getting engaged just one month later in June.

However, Pete and Ariana’s whirlwind romance came to an end shortly after the tragic passing of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, in September 2018.

Pete has also been linked to Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor, actress Kate Beckinsale, and Cazzie David, the daughter of comedian Larry David.
