Superstar actor and “Fantastic Four” leading man Pedro Pascal was recently forced to cut ties with his longtime stylist, Julie Ragolia, after unhinged fans sent her death threats over several recent looks.
Pascal, considered by many to be one of the most fashionable men in all of Hollywood, had worked with Ragolia for several years. However, according to Socialite Life, “a particular ensemble worn by the actor at a recent Star Wars event in Japan appears to have ignited a firestorm among some fans.”

Pedro Pascal’s Longtime Stylist Julie Ragolia Claps Back An Hyper-Critical Fans
The outfit featured Pascal in an oversized, striped button-down shirt, black shorts, and a pair of black knee-high boots.
“One of you called for my death because you didn’t like Pedro’s outfit,” Ragolia posted on X shortly after the event. “I’m not even going to comment on individual taste or one’s personal preferences. I’m just going to let you sit with your obsession.”
While most fans were sympathetic toward Ragolia, who also works with stars such as LaKeith Stanfield and Riz Ahmed, others snapped back the stylist.
“Just sitting and waiting for the day that you really do some styling on him and not just copy past(e) straight out the runway,” one fan wrote.
“Pedro is a grown adult with his own opinions on what he likes and what feels good to him,” she replied. “Stylists are not dictators. We are collaborators. Thank you for actually asking how the process works.”
Ultimately, it’s just the latest example of fans having an unhealthy parasocial relationship with celebrities. Pascal is a mild example of this. But it occurs often in the music world. Pop stars such as Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, and many others all have deeply dedicated fans, many of whom feel they deserve a say in the day-to-day lives of their favorite celebs.
Oftentimes, those fans cross a line and become deeply problematic. That appears to have been the case here and, sadly, it resulted in the end of an otherwise strong working relationship.
