Days of Our Lives was guaranteed a 60th season after it was renewed for two years by its new home Peacock.
If you missed it, the iconic soap opera moved from NBC to the streaming service in the fall of 2022. It’s final episode on the platform was unceremoniously cut short to air a speech by King Charles.
However, the show has found a much happier and more stable path to chart.

According to Variety, the series renewal comes amid continued and renewed interest in Days of Our Lives. Peacock reported that it has “consistently been a top 10 title” for them since migrating over.
The beloved show, set in the fictional town Salem, was the longtime home of Jennifer Aniston‘s late father John. His final episode aired in December 2022.
Last year also saw an old character return to the series and another leave.
