Patrick Stump has collaborated with ska band Catbite on newly released track ‘Tired Of Talk’.
Taken from the Philadelphia band’s forthcoming EP Doom Garden, the newly released track features vocals and trumpet-playing from the Fall Out Boy frontman.

Speaking on working with Patrick, the band’s guitarist Tim Hildebrand has shared:
“When we were writing, we felt this song would be the perfect opportunity to introduce a guest vocal… At the top of our list of people to ask was Patrick Stump. Collectively, we are all huge fans of Fall Out Boy, and specifically Patrick’s vocal style. We knew it was a huge stretch, but we found a way to contact him, shared the song, and crossed our fingers and toes. By the miracle of ska, we got a reply from Patrick saying that he loved the song and would love to sing on it. He went above and beyond, and we are ecstatic on how this turned out!”
And on being asked to collaborate, Patrick has said:
“Catbite is one of the real greats of this generation of ska music… A wave that hasn’t even hit the beach yet. I was so amped to be asked to work with them and I can’t wait to see where they end up.”
Catbite’s new EP Doom Garden will arrive on May 09 via Bad Time Records.
