Panda Bear, Built to Spill, Galaxie 500’s Dean Wareham, Sebadoh and More

Woodsist Festival has unveiled the full artist lineup for its 2025 return on September 20 and 21. Fifteen years after its 2009 debut, the vaunted indie label’s annual get-together will welcome fourteen Woodsist artists and friends upstate for a serene weekend of music and community at Accord, N.Y.’s Arrowood Farms. This year’s all-star bill is topped by Panda Bear, Built to Spill, Galaxie 500’s Dean Wareham, the newly reunited Sebadoh, and, of course, Woods.

Woodsist Festival has taken many forms over the years, bouncing from coast to coast and stage to stage before finding its current home in 2019. By its tight-knit n​​ature, the festival always seems to feature some acts who’ve seen it grow over the years; in 2025, Tim Presley’s White Fence will rejoin the festivities after taking part in its DIY Big Sur origins back in 2011 and 2012. The shapeshifting avant-jam duo of organist John Medeski and drummer Billy Martin are also returning favorites, following a set at the 2022 event. This year’s bill is rounded out by the diverse but all exceptional talents of Zamrock giants W.I.T.C.H., Rose City Band, the Cosmic Tones Research Trio, Merce Lemon, Joanna Sternberg, Sharp Pins and off-kilter country singer-songwriter Dougie Poole.
