BAYWATCH legend Pamela Anderson puts on a nail-biting show for fans.
The actress, 57, posed in a black dress, heels and bangles for an interview with W Magazine ahead of last night’s Golden Globes.
She was heavily tipped to make a storming comeback and win Best Actress in a Drama for her performance in The Last Showgirl.
A trailer was released for the flick in November, and it was garnering Oscars buzz from viewers.
At the start of the clip Pamela’s character Shelly can be seen quivering with emotion as she takes to the stage as a dancer.
Although she looks dazzling in her sequined finery, it is clear there is more going on beneath the surface as Shelly’s eyes fill with tears.
A voice over is then played across vignettes of Shelly’s life on and off stage.
Pamela can be heard musing: “Las Vegas used to treat us like movie stars, the costumes the sets, we were ambassadors for style and grace, the Las Vegas showgirl, iconic American showgirl.
“Feeling seen, feeling beautiful, that is powerful and I can’t imagine my life without it.
“Doing a job that you don’t really love, that’s hard.”
Fans were impressed by Coppola’s gorgeous cinematography, and Pamela’s emotional portrayal of Shelly.
One film critic gushed that this is the ‘best role’ Pamela has ever had, adding: “Like Shelley, Anderson hasn’t been taken seriously as an actress or in her personal life, and here, she gets to prove decades of her critics wrong.”
