With Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese on to the WNBA, Paige Bueckers is the biggest name in women’s college basketball. UConn’s rising fifth-year senior’s superstar status was on full display at a Connecticut casino after an A Boogie Wit da Hoodie concert over the weekend.
She was looking fit while shooting craps with the New York-based rapper and singer!
Paige Bueckers, who chose to return to the Huskies for her final year of eligibility after missing all of the 2022/23 season with a torn ACL, is still in the Nutmeg State. Those who are familiar with the region know that the Xfinity Theatre is the place to be during the summer. Connecticut’s most prominent amphitheater is always popping and A Boogie’s concert was not the exception. He sold the place out with NLE Choppa, Luh Tyler and Byron Messia.
Bueckers was in the crowd and may have ended up backstage. She is shredded.
Not long after the concert wrapped, the likely No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft (or at least top-three) was spotted with the headliner. Bueckers got some shots up with A Boogie, presumably somewhere outside of Xfinity. They both clanked one off of the rim.
If that wasn’t cool enough, A Boogie and his crew kept the party rolling and brought Bueckers with them! She joined the squad at the casino to casually shoot some craps.
Neither Foxwoods nor Mohegan Sun, the two best casinos in Connecticut, are particularly close to Hartford but A Boogie had the next day off so there wasn’t any rush to get anywhere. Hitting the tables then dropping Bueckers back off in Storrs was no problem!
It doesn’t get much cooler than that. A Boogie grabbed the best player in women’s college hoops and said “you’re rolling with us tonight.” Paige Bueckers’ superstar status is real!
