Olivia Rodrigo is a gosh darn professional. We’ve known that ever since she burst onto the scene with rock-infused pop bangers, but she continues to prove it time and time again. Her latest highly professional move came during her performance in Australia on Sunday (October 13th), when the star accidentally fell into a trap door on the stage — only for her to get up unfazed and keep on rolling.
“Oh my God, that was fun. I’m okay!,” Rodrigo announced after stepping into a large gap in the stage while she was performing at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. “Sometimes there’s a just a hole in the stage. That’s alright! Okay, where was I?,” she said, continuing on as if she hand’t just taken quite the tumble. Watch a video of the moment below.
Following the concert, Rodrigo poked fun at herself by posting a clip of the fall to her TikTok page soundtracked by Apex Twin’s “QKThr.” “I am ok hahaha ❤️,” she wrote in the comments, reassuring fans she didn’t sustain any injuries.
The Melbourne stop was the latest of Rodrigo’s ongoing “GUTS world tour.” The Australian leg marks the last run of dates for jaunt (get last-minute tickets here), though Rodrigo is also set to headline Lollapalooza South America in 2025.
