Its time to once again teach your kids about the dangers of underage drinking. That warning should definitely include how partying can lead to a local sociopath torturing and killing them. Octavia Spencer will reprise her role as Sue Ann Ellington in Blumhouse Productions sequel to the 2019 horror film Ma.
At its Business of Fear symposium, Blumhouse announced (in news we first heard at Variety) it is developing a sequel to its 2019 psychological thriller. That film turned house parties with an older woman into a nightmare. (Dont dont overthink that sentence. Just roll with us on this.)
The movie is in the very early stages of the creative process. The sequel does not have a director or writer attached yet. But it wont be hard to find talented people who want to work on it since its star is already locked in. In classic horror film fashion, the original movie suggested its titular killer died. Sue Ann seemed to willingly let herself burn to death in a house fire. Only she didnt! Academy Award-winner Octavia Spencer is already officially coming back for more killer vengeance in the Ma sequel.

Well, at least the ones who make the mistake of partying at Sue Anns house. Teens who go to see the movie will definitely have a much better time. So long as they do so responsibly. If theres one thing we know its that underage drinking is very dangerous. Especially when you drink with Ma.
