It comes after it emerged seven million queued on official websites yesterday as the 1.2million tickets were released.

An insider said: “Millions of Oasis fans will be feeling incredibly disappointed today.

“Noel and Liam are weighing up whether they can feasibly do more dates

“Next year’s reunion tour is for their fans and they want to make them happy.”

Another source told The Sun on Sunday that Noel is working on new music and could invite Liam to record some vocals.

Fans are able to increase their chances of getting tickets through a pre-sale ticket ballot.

Fans need to enter some personal details and answer an Oasis-related question.

Those who answer correctly will receive an email asking for confirmation they want to be entered into the ballot.

Successful ballot entries then received an email with a code by 12pm on Friday, August 30.

Tickets for the UK dates go on sale from 9am on Saturday, August 31st and will be available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com and www.seetickets.com. Dublin tickets will be available from 8am that same day from www.ticketmaster.ie.

Speculation is rife that they could work together on a new Oasis production after being seen “laughing and joking” when they met to discuss the tour following their 15-year rift.

The source added: “Noel knows the reunion is about the hits but he doesn’t want them to be purely a nostalgia act.

“He has the tunes ready to go and if things continue to work well with Liam then it could be absolutely amazing.”

On a podcast earlier this year, Noel hinted that he was looking back to his past, describing his next High Flying Birds album as “more, dare I say it, Oasis-y”.
