Oasis have announced a deluxe 30th anniversary edition of their beloved 1995 sophomore album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, arriving on October 3rd via Big Brother Recordings.
The new package will be released in 3xLP and 2xCD formats, as well as on digital platforms. It’ll be released in various exclusive vinyl formats, including an Amazon exclusive “Wonderwall”-inspired sepia marble 3xLP and an official Oasis shop exclusive “Acquiesce”-inspired neon orange 3xLP. In addition to the band’s 2014 remastered version of the original album, the 30th anniversary edition will include brand new acoustic renditions of five Oasis songs: “Cast No Shadow,” “Morning Glory,” “Wonderwall,” “Acquiesce,” and “Champagne Supernova.” They’ve revealed the unplugged version of “Acquiesce” as a preview of the new reissue; stream it below. The music will be accompanied by new artwork shot by original sleeve designer Brian Cannon and new sleeve notes.

The new (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? reissue follows last year’s 30th anniversary reissue of Definitely Maybe, Oasis’ 1994 debut album. It also arrives ahead of the band’s massive “Oasis Live ’25” reunion tour, which kicks off in Wales on Friday, July 4th.
