Taylor Swift was having a ball at the Grammy Awards at Sunday night, as the pop star was spotted enjoying herself in the crowd multiple times throughout the night. One of those viral moments saw her doing what could best be described as the infamous Elaine Benes dance move while jamming out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”
While Taylor Swift didn’t literally do the wild leg-kicking and thumb-throwing that Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Elaine Benes did on Seinfeld close to thirty years ago, the 35-year-old mega pop star went viral none the less for dropping it low to the Record and Song of the Year winner by Kendrick Lamar.
You’ve got to give it to Swift, though, as she was truly dancing as if no one was watching despite the fact that she’s one of the most famous women in the world who constantly has cameras — both professional TV/movie/documentary rigs and fans taking SnapChat videos from hundreds of yards away — pointed at her.
While virtually all of the music world was seemingly in attendance at the Grammys on Sunday night, Drake was noticeably absent, and now it’s clear why.

The song being played at the Grammy Awards also led to a bit of an awkward reaction from Beyonce, who — unlike the rest of the crowd — opted not to sing the song’s most famous lyrics: “Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young // You better not ever go to cell block one.”
Beyonce did, however, enthusiastically bop and clap to the song, which also prompted the entire crowd to yell “A MINORRRR” when that lyrics passed through the speaker system.
