Nora Aunor, the legendary Filipino actress and singer who inspired generations of fans, died on Wednesday, April 16. She was 71.

A National Artist, Aunor will be honored with a fitting state funeral on Tuesday, April 22, at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City, after a decorated career that includes iconic films Minsa’y Isang Gamu-gamo (1976), Ikaw ay Akin (1978), Atsay (1978), Bona (1980), and Himala (1982).

Manila released a traffic advisory for the state funeral of National Artist Nora Aunor starting at 7 am on Tuesday, April 22.

Road closures

  • Padre Burgos Avenue (from Mehan Garden to Quezon Boulevard Bridge North Bound)
  • Natividad Lopez Street northbound (from N. Lopez/Villegas intersection heading towards Universidad de Manila)

Parking restrictions

  • One-side parking from Taft/ Avenue to Mehan Garden

Alternate routes

  • McArthur Bridge to Sta. Cruz to point of destination
  • Jones Bridge to Binondo area to point of destination
